Crave Real Burgers Launches in LoDo

LoDo got itself a new hot burger spot with the opening of Crave Real Burgers at 1550 Blake Street. The five year old company that has a loyal following for its fancy burgers and boozy milkshakes got started in Castle Rock and has locations in Colorado Springs and Highlands Ranch.

Owned by Jeff and Jeryn Richard, Crave offers unusual burger creations like the 3 Little Pigs (pulled pork, ham, bacon, cheese, and onion strings), the Nutty Professor
(peanut butter, bacon, jalapeños, and onion), and the Sin City (crispy tempura, fried white cheddar, bourbon-glazed onions, candied bacon, avocado and lettuce). All patties are made with 100% Colorado beef.

This week, the seasonal special is a spooky Bloody Mary riff called the Bloody Crave. The drink is garnished with fried pork, ham, roasted jalapeños, celery, and candied bacon (if you didn't get enough pork in your beverage yet!) and costs $12. Crave will be open for lunch and dinner until 10 p.m. nightly.
