WILLIAMS AND GRAHAM TAKEOVER SERIES #7

What: The popular "takeover series" at William and Graham - a unique event allowing guests to experience top bars from around the country without ever having to leave Denver - is returning with guest bartenders from the EP & LP bar in Los Angeles. The bartenders will be completely taking over the LoHi speakeast, from the music selection to the cocktail menu. Chef Matt Thompson will create a special menu inspired by EP & LP's.

WHISKEY DINNER WITH RICHARD BETTS

What: In celebration of the release of his latest book, "The Essential Scratch and Sniff of Becoming a Whiskey Know-It-Allm" Frasca Food and Wine will be hosting winemaker Richard Betts for a Whiskey Dinner. As Betts works through the book, guests will enjoy a tasting of various whiskeys, as well as a community style dinner.

FORTALEZA TEQUILA DINNER
When: Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m.
Where: Zolo Grill, 2525 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder
What: Head to Zolo Grill for an interesting twist on dinner. The chef and the mixologist will create a special menu for guests featuring Fortaleza tequila. The menu will include four courses, each accompanied by a tequila cocktail. To answer all of your Fortaleza-relate questions will be Brian Smith, spirit specialist of classic wine and spirits, who will also be sharing the unique history behind the tequila.

4TH ANNIVERSARY FRANCISCAN WINE DINNER
When: Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m.
Where: Coohills, 1400 Wewatta Street Denver
What: Coohills will celebrate its 4th anniversary by hosting a five course meal, accompanied by five Franciscan wines chosen by wine expert Marla Carroll of Franciscan Estate Winery. Carroll will also be at the dinner to educate guests on this special wine.

THE DENVER BACON AND BEER FESTIVAL
When: Sunday, November 8 from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
Where: The Glitter Dome, 3600 Wynkoop Street
What: Satisfy your bacon and beer craving in one event! The annual Denver Bacon and Beer fest will be returning for a fourth year. The festival will feature a number of bacon-inspired brews and bites, from local favorites such as Breckenridge Brewery and Rebel Restaurant.

DOMAINE TEMPIER DINNER

What: Join Frasca Food and Wine for its third installment in the fall tastemaker series, in which a featured wine connoisseur or wine maker will select wines to go with a curated dinner menu. This month's guest is Daniel Ranvier of Domaine Tempier from Provence, France.

What: Boulder Restaurant Week, First Bite, will be celebrating it's 10th year of weeklong deliciousness. From November 13-21, 40 participating restaurants will offer a special $29 prix fixe dinner menu.

DINNER AT THE HIGH LONESOME RANCH

What: If you're looking to get out of the city, The High Lonesome Ranch will be hosting an evening of exceptional dining. The dinner will include over 20 courses and drink pairings, so bring your appetite. Prices for the dinner also include a one-night stay at the ranch.

RAMEN THROW DOWN
When: Sunday, November 15 from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
Where: Lower48 Kitchen, 2020 Lawrence Street
What: Ramen lovers, pay attention: Six of Colorado chefs, including Tommy Lee of Uncle and Ryan Gorby of Cho77, will compete in a ramen throwdown - each chef will be judged on bowl presentation, taste, noodle preparation, presentation, and use of a mystery ingredient. A $26 dollar ticket wins you a first-hand access to the drama, as well as appetizers, tastings of the ramen dishes, and even a chance to be a judge. All of the proceeds got to Work Options for Women.

JAMES BEARD FOUNDATION DINNER

What: In honor of the James Beard Foundation, Devil's Thumb Ranch will host a special dinner featuring seven of Colorado's top chefs, including Paul C. Reilly of Beast + Bottle and Brandon Foster of Vesta Dipping Grill.

MMMIXER CRAFT COCKTAIL AND CULINARY PAIRING EVENT

What: In the "spirit" of autumn, MMMIXER will be hosting a special food and whiskey spirits event! 30+ of colorado's finest whiskey distilleries will be pairing up with some of colorado's finest restaurants to bring guests a unique pairing of local food and drink. The event will take place at Mile High Station, where a host of exciting activities will span two floors. A DJ, wheel of chance, and classic games like ring toss and hoop shoot will be there to entertain as you imbibe.

HOLIDAY PIE CLASS

What: Perfect your pie making skills just in time for the holidays at Cook's Street. Pastry Chefs will be conducting a pie making class in which students will learn the basics of pie crust, fillings, and toppings.
