BERKELEY — Tonight from 7 to 10 p.m., neighborhood spot Nip & Sip is hosting the Stephen Brooks Trio for a night of live swanky jazz tunes. The bar is located at 4395 Yates Street.
DOWNTOWN — On Friday, October 9, Range is hosting the Hill Family Winemakers Dinner. The theme is West Coast-meets-Colorado in a surf and turf inspired menu with five courses each perfectly paired with five wines. Ryan Hill, of Hill Family Estate in Napa Valley will present his family's award-winning wines and chef Paul Nagan of Range Restaurant will satisfy your hunger for the flavors of fall. Tickets, which cost $125 per person including wine pairings, can be purchased online.
GOLDEN TRIANGLE — On Monday, October 12 at 1 p.m., Robert and Kristen Autobee, co-authors of The Lost Restaurants of Denver, will speak about their book at the History Colorado Center. The book was published earlier this year and is available at the History Colorado Center.
LAFAYETTE — On Monday, October 12 from 4 to 6 p.m., the fine folks from the Post are inviting the community to toast to all of Lafayette's breweries and the great things they do, Great American Beer Festival medals included! Special beers will be offered on tap, alongside more swag and much love for the town's brewhouses — Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company, Odd13 Brewing, Front Range Brewing Company.
CHERRY CREEK — For monthly pairing, Harman's is offering sausage and Good River Beer.The restaurant will pair Good River's Gunny Black Lager, Fu Fighter Belgian Golden Strong Ale, and Class V Double IPA with three house-made sausages, including chorizo and white bean cassoulet, Kielbasa with pretzel spaetzle, and linquesa with curry kraut. The special is available for $20 after 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday until October 31st.
