Denver Union Station and Boulder Farmers' Market will be teaming up on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to host a harvest edition farmers market in LoDo. Local farmers and vendors will be bringing their finest fall produce to sell to patrons at the market.
Denver Deep Dish will be hosting a fun event for kids and adults on Saturday from 10 a.m. - noon. $12 will include pizza-making materials for one child, kids' drink, and one adult beverage for mom or dad. Denver Deep Dish will be running other food and alcoholic beverage specials so this event is sure to be a good time for all ages.
Because nothing says fall like hard cider! On Saturday at Stem Ciders, the party will kick off at 11 a.m. and entrance will be free until 4 p.m. After 4 there will be a $10 cover. The fun will include a mini market featuring local vendors, a pig roast with Bubba Duke's BBQ, apple pie contest, and family friendly activities throughout the day.
On Sunday, October 11, join John Lehndorff for a very special food writing workshop at the Boulder Bookstore. Lehndorff has filled the roles of food editor, dining critic, food writer, chef, blogger, and nationally known pie expert. At the Sunday workshop, he will discuss the changing dynamic of food writing with topics like blogging, phone food photography, and the nature of the Denver/Boulder food media world.
