LODO — Tamayo has launched a new test kitchen menu from chef Richard Sandoval. The offerings will focus on flavors inspired by Oaxaca, including grasshopper ash, tuna aguachile, and braised short ribs in mezcal mole. The dishes, inspired by the chef's recent visit to Southern Mexico, will be accompanied by cocktails like a spicy mango Margarita and ancho chile Margarita. For reservations, call 720.946.1433.
HIGHLAND — Join Stir Cooking School for a Thanksgiving sides class this evening, Wednesday November 18. Starting at 6:30 p.m., students can learn how to make turkey with orange cranberry sauce, apple sausage and caramelized onion stuffing, mashed sweet potato casserole, roasted green beans, and pumpkin pie with bourbon caramel sauce. EAST COLFAX — This week, Fiction Beer Company will release two brand new beers. On Wednesday, November 18, the brewery will unveil its wintry emblem oak-aged winter spiced ale. On Saturday, it will release a new iteration of its 'ales for ALS charity' brew. For every pint sold, $1 is donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.
