Colorado Wine Board encourages drinking locally this holiday season
The Colorado Wine Board is encouraging Coloradans to think locally when choosing wine for the holidays. Almost 40% of all wine sales occur in November and December, which makes this time of year the perfect time to support local wineries. Uncork this year with local winieries such as Bookcliff Vineyards, Creekside Cellars, Turquoise Mesa, Aspen Peak Cellars, Carlson Vineyards, and Colorado Cider Company.
MOD Pizza Celebrates its 7th Anniversary
For its 7th year anniversary, MOD Pizza is getting in the giving spirit. From Tuesday, November 24 to Sunday, November 29, the restaurant is kicking off its annual MOD-ness campaign. The restaurant will donate $1 from every pizza sale that they make to a local charity. This year, charities include TLC Meals on Wheels and Share Our Strength. Both charities specialize on delivering high-quality food to those in need, with TLC specifically focusing on delivering meals to seniors and Share Our Strength focusing on ending child hunger.
