Izakaya Den Honored With Design Award; Beast + Bottle Launches Monday Supper

And Dunkin' Donuts holds grand opening ceremony for its newest location.

Beast + Bottle launches Monday night supper

Starting tonight, November 2, Uptown's popular restaurant Beast + Bottle will open its doors on Mondays to serve a three-course tasting menu for $35. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. The tasting menu will feature a seasonal starter (likely soup or salad), a choice of entrée, and a dessert.  Bar manager JP Taylor will offer optional wine pairings. The full cocktail, beer, and wine menu will also be available. The tasting menu will change weekly. Reservations can be made online or by calling 303.623.3223; walk ins are welcome.

Izakaya Den was recognized for its design at the Mayor's Design Awards

During an awards ceremony at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver last Thursday, October 29, Mayor Michael B. Hancock and Brad Buchanan, executive director of Denver Community Planning and Development, presented award certificates to Toshi Kizaki of Sushi Den/Izakaya Den, as well as to the teams from Roth Sheppard Architects and Jordy Construction. Izakaya Den was among 16 projects honored for excellence in architecture, design, and placemaking during the annual awards ceremony.

Dunkin' Donuts opens new store in Westminster with grand opening event

Dunkin' Donuts is launching its newest restaurant in the Denver metro area, located at 13591 Huron St. in Westminster, Colorado (cross streets are Huron St. and W. 136th Avenue). Starting at 9 a.m. on November 3, this outpost of the doughnut chain will host a grand opening event that includes a ribbon cutting ceremony, games and prizes for customers, free Dunkin' Donuts travel cups (while supplies last), and a cup stacking competition between local community organizations.
