Globe Hall has opened its doors today at 4 p.m. Brought to Denver by Jeff Cornelius, the Texas-inspired eatery wears, like Texans so often do, many hats. It is a dive bar, music hall, and barbecue joint all in one, located on 4483 Logan Street in Globeville. What used to be a Croatian and Slovenian meeting hall built in 1902 now includes a restaurant seating 80 inside and 40 on the outdoor patio. The music venue, which will play an eclectic mix of live music every Friday and Saturday night, can fit around 200 people.

Globe Hall serves smoked and dry rubbed brisket, ribs, chicken and pork, courtesy of the restaurant's serious smoker named Betty. The drink menu includes various margaritas, mules, and cocktails while the beer selection includes $2 PBR on tap. Globe Hall is open Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to Midnight and on Saturday from noon to midnight.
