Fun and Food Filled Events This Weekend in Denver

MEZCAL REOPENING & LATIN REGGAE FIESTA – Head to the newly revamped Mezcal tonight to partake in a celebration of the restaurant's rejuvenation. Live Latin reggae will accompany food and drink specials with no cover. Can't make it tonight? Mezcal will be slinging two-for-one margaritas all weekend.

ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY AT MOCKERY – Mockery Brewing is celebrating its first birthday on Saturday, November 7 with a raging block party. Yes that's right, a block party in November. The event will begin at noon, with a broad spectrum of specials, releases, and fun activities. Live bluegrass and funk, glassware giveaways, and food truck fare are just a few of the things that guests can expect.

BRONCOS GAME AT RATIO BEERWOORKS – Ever watched a football game in the middle of a brewhouse? Kickoff is Sunday at 2:25 for the Broncos/Colts game in Ratio's brewery with sound and all. Don't worry, it's not a full-on sports takeover - the taproom will be open with music and fun for non-sports enthusiasts.

FIRST FRIDAY AT MUTINY INFORMATION CAFE – From 7 - 10 p.m. tonight, get your First Friday celebration on with an insane satellite gallery at Mutiny on S. Broadway. The gallery will showcase "The Mystery of Cedric Jackson" - a 20 ft comic story produced with local legend Stan Yan.

DENVER BACON & BEER FESTIVAL – On Sunday, November 9 from 2:30 - 5 p.m., the fourth annual Denver Bacon & Beer Festival is rolling through the Glitter Dome in RiNo. The event features some great local restaurants and breweries and tickets are available online.

EAT AND GREET AT ILLEGAL PETE'S LODO – Ray Bottlerocket and Chris Fogal will treat Illegal Pete's guests to an acoustic meet and greet session on Saturday, November 7 at 5 p.m. Free live music, a chance to chat with the musicians, and mission style Mexican food all sound like a good way to spend a Saturday evening.

RINO YACHT CLUB MOVIE NIGHT – This Sunday from 7 - 10 p.m., head to the River North Yacht Club to watch "Rushmore" and indulge in $6 drink specials.

LEARN TO HOMEBREW DAY AT CO BREW – If you're itching to start home brewing or you just like to drink local craft beer, consider heading to CO Brew for a home brew workshop day tomorrow throughout the day from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Brewing demonstrations will kick off at 11:30, home brew equipment will be served, and beer will be drunk.

BREWHOUSE YOGA AT SPANGALANG BREWERY – Join Brewhouse Yoga and Spangalang Brewery this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. For $15 attendees can zen out to an hour of yoga and earn a pint of beer afterwards.
