Long-Awaited Rackhouse Pub Reopened in New RiNo Location

Joining other tenants of the Bindery on Blake, the bar-restaurant was in the works for two years.

The Rackhouse Pub, an American style restaurant and tasting room opened its new location this past weekend at Bindery on Blake (2875 Blake Street) a 100-year-old industrial building newly renovated for creative office and retail mixed-use.

Previously located inside Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey Distillery, Rackhouse moved to the RiNo neighborhood inside the "Juicebox," a 21,000-square-foot production warehouse alongside C Squared Ciders, which opened this July, and Bierstadt Lagerhaus, set to begin brewing in early 2016. Of that space, Rackhouse encompasses roughly 4,000-square feet on the mezzanine level. The space maintains its historic industrial feel, with a community-style table made from an old printing press.

Of course bringing visitors well-balanced lagers and ciders, the new food menu, dreamt up by chef Brandon Muncy – formerly of the Lobby – showcases food that pairs well with in-house brews and ciders. Dishes also bring forward ingredients found in the beer-making process, following the brewed-food movement and capitalizing on relationships with in-house production partners. Try the pilsner-wort mussels, with parmesan-crusted crostini, burnt hop ash, and greens. The hop chef meatball and jaeger schnitzel also highlight the beverages you'll be pairing with your meal.

The eatery meets brewhouse is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.
