The Melt will open on Sunday with freebies and specials

Things are about to get cheesy in Littleton as The Melt, a cheese-centric group of fast-casual eateries based in San Francisco, opens at Southwest Plaza in Littleton. The eatery is committed to bringing all-natural, cheesy comfort food, free of artificial ingredients or additives. The menu includes comfort foods like grilled cheeses, melty cheeseburgers, and housemade mac ‘n' cheese, along with fries, soups, salads and desserts. Guests who mention the code "Say Cheese Littleton!" at the door on Sunday, Dec. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will get a free meal (Melt + side + fountain drink).

Pastry chef Noah French announces his next adventure

Fans of chef Noah French and his fabulous sweet creations will have to travel to Orlando, Florida to enjoy his work. The former co-owner and pastry chef of RiNo's Sugarmill accepted a position at a new pastry boutique concept that will be opening at Disney World in the spring. French will start working there early in January.

A partnership led by Lucky Pie Pizza and Tap House raises money for veterans

On January 28, Lucky Pie Pizza and Tap House, Inspirato and 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company will host a fundraiser for the Vail Veterans Program. The program has been transforming military injured and their families through individualized world-class outdoor programs building confidence and life-long relationships.
Proceeds for the sales of 10th Mountain Whiskey, Rye, Moonshine, and Vodkawill be donated directly to Vail Veterans Program. A guest bartender from 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirits and a guest bartender from Inspirato will mix cocktails starting at 4 p.m. at the LoDo location of Lucky Pie.
