Stowaway Coffee began luring us to 2528 Walnut Street earlier this month with its internationally inspired eclectic and hearty cuisine, top notch coffee and tea selections, and industrial chic vibe, and now we have reason to linger longer at the address. Pon Pon Bar opened quietly this month right next door, to provide cocktails, vinyl sets, and a quirky gallery space to the RiNo crowd.
At the helm of Pon Pon is RiNo artists' collective Lane Meyer Projects and Forest Room 5 veteran bartender, Paul Garcia, and his crew of artsy pirate bartenders. Lane Meyer curates the offbeat and original conglomeration of art you see at Pon Pon, to create a sensory, lurid drinking experience overall.
