Food Bank of the Rockies kicks off "Bacon for Santa"
The Food Bank of the Rockies has launched its new "Bacon for Santa" campaign. From now until Christmas Day, Farmland will donate one pound of bacon to Food Bank of the Rockies for every Coloradan who pledges to leave bacon for Santa in lieu of cookies. Tweeting #BaconForSanta will trigger a one-pound donation of bacon from Farmland to the Food Bank of the Rockies, which serves disadvantaged people in Colorado and Wyoming. West End Tavern is hosting a movie premiere
On Wednesday, December 9, West End Tavern will screen the premiere of Melting: Last Race to the Pole. The Documentary follows Eric Larsen and Ryan Waters on an unassisted, 500 mile long journey to the North Pole. The filmmakers will also be there after the film to discuss their expedition, as well as the several environmental issues raised in the film. Movie drinks and snacks will be provided by West End Tavern and Upslope Brewing Company.
