Step Inside the Brown Palace, Denver's Ultimate Holiday Destination

Visiting the lavishly decorated historic hotel is a tradition for many in December.

One of Colorado's most prestigious hotels, the 123 year old Brown Palace is a stunner any day of the year, but it truly shines during the holidays. The multi-leveled atrium transforms itself into the perfect backdrop for any holiday get-together with a massive holiday chandelier as its centerpiece. This year, it is covered in more than 250,000 crystal beads to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Debutante Ball. The Brown Palace decorations include 60,000 LED lights, 500 pounds of glitter, and 4,800 ornaments.

Bonus: Every Friday until Christmas, enjoy the sounds of holiday cheer in the lobby atrium by Dickens Carolers from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

The photos in the gallery were taken the day the hotel hosted its Champagne Cascade event and turned on its holiday lights.
