Drive down South Broadway past I-25 and you'll find several new eateries under construction within a two-mile stretch. According to Confluence Denver, developer Jon Cook has a few projects underway that entail restaurants, with a couple adding to the growing list of upcoming Asian spots.
In the former Timberline Kitchen & Bath showroom at 1842 South Broadway, Eurocrepes will take over a portion of the building, leaving the remainder for two additional tenants. Confluence Denver says that Cook's son Steven is working with Mehdi and Crystal Mdouarion the concept that originated in Switzerland.
Just a little farther down the road, Englewood's Taste of Thailand will find a new home at 2120 South Broadway. After 20 years situated across from Swedish Medical Center, the veteran restaurant hopes to relocate by April to a strip mall that's being upgraded, with a patio as part of the plan.
And at 2950 South Broadway, a ramen and sushi establishment is taking shape in the form of Marufuku Restaurant, owned by Masaki Ishitani. Its closest neighbors will include Trompeau Bakery, Billy's Hot Dogs, and Jimano's Pizzeria.
