Eateries often get their start as a food truck, and later transition to a brick-and-mortar location. But in the case of Tennyson Street's the Pasty Republic, first came the shop and now comes the truck. Known for pasties, a handheld savory and stuffed pastry that originated in Cornwall, England, the roving operation will begin its rotations on Friday, February 6.

Starting off at Hogshead Brewery, the first week's schedule will also see stops at Stem Ciders on Sunday, Comrade Brewing next Thursday, February 12, and more. The announcement first came via Facebook, where an update reads:

Exciting News: The second step in our pasty take-over of Colorado is here folks! We are launching our first Pasty Food Truck on Friday Feb. 6th! We couldn’t have done this without the support of our fans so here’s a big THANK YOU to you all! We will be using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to let people know where are on any given night.

Additionally, the Pasty Republic offers a delivery service for frozen pasties, with a minimum order of six. Details regarding the schedule and delivery area can be found on the website.
