The Noodle News: Food Network recently gathered a list of the best places in America to slurp a bowl of ramen and Denver's Uncle was rightly given a spot. Uncle's "out-of-the-box" creative ingredients made this noodle joint stand out among the rest.

The Denver Burger Scene: Dabbling in the cuisine category, MSN compiled the best burger in every state with Denver's own Cherry Cricket earning the title for Colorado. The Cherry Creek favorite is noted for the restaurant's dartboard that lists endless, delectable ingredients to be added to any juicy burger.

The Low-Down on Denver Dumplings: ChoLon Modern Asian Bistro made the cut in Food Network's Best Dumplings from Coast to Coast list for chef Lon Symensma dumplings filled with sweet caramelized onions, melted Gruyere cheese, and a sherry infused broth "that bursts when you bite into them."

Best Female Tastemakers: Elle Magazine stepped away from fashion and style to highlight the best females in the restaurant business across the nation, including Denver's Kate Kavanaugh of Western Daughter's Butcher Shoppe. Kavanaugh practices the "eat better meat less often" philosophy, which earned her the recognition from Elle's taste team.
