Jax Offers Sustainable Seafood; Tamayo Hosts Bike 2 Brunch; and More

DOWNTOWN — On Thursday, March 12, the Nickel will host Andrew Rich, an indie winemaker from the pacific northwest. Rich is known for crafting high quality, limited production Rhone-style wines using grapes from Washington's Columbia Valley and Oregon's Tamhill-Carlton region. Guests will be able to sample four wines paired with four delicious bites while learning the magic of creating a soulmatepairing and chatting up Rich. The cost is $39 per person and reservations can be made by calling 720.889.2128.

ALL LOCATIONS Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to close, all Jax Fish House locations will feature "sustainable seafood best choices". The dishes are based off Seafood Watch's "Best Choices". From Red Snapper to Crawfish and Alaskan Cod, keep an eye out on the Jax Fish House sustainability page for each new dish.

LODO Tamayo's Bike 2 Brunch will be on Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Customers will not only get a complimentary guacamole when ordering the $35 bottomless brunch, they will also receive a 20% storewide discount at neighboring shop Timbuk2 and a chance to win a $100 Tamayo gift card. Bike 2 Brunch will continue to take place the first Saturday of every month through the summer.

DOWNTOWN During the month of March, EDGE Restaurant and Bar is featuring a Rocky Mountain Elk Rib Eye. To experience and savor this speciality steak, patrons can come in during dinners hours (5 to 10 p.m.) and order the "Cut of the Month" for $42.
