Though margaritas may not be the drink of choice in the Irish old country, the classic beverage does the trick to stir celebrations for the spring-like temperatures in Denver. LoDo's Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (1525 Blake Street) is beckoning hungry señors and señoritas to its new and improved patio – and just in time for St. Patrick's Day.

The renovation of the long-time eatery doubles its existing outdoor capacity, upping its seating from 80 to 175. Throughout the spring, the Rio Grande will add a second foundation, new shade sails, and misters to cool down outdoor eaters. With the add-on, the full food and drink menus will be newly available both inside and out. Plus, don't miss live music performances on the patio, sure to add to the ambiance throughout the summer season.
