The wait is almost over for the first iteration of Osaka Ramen in RiNo, which was initially slated for an August opening but eventually got pushed as chef Jeff Osaka decided to expand the project. With the March opening date fast approaching, updates have been coming through Facebook.
Most recently, the above shot of noodle baskets imported from Japan was revealed, with a note that restaurant supplies are slowly arriving. Other shared details have included vintage light fixtures for the entrance and shopping for beautifully designed bowls from overseas.
Once open, several styles of ramen will be showcased on the menu, including a pork-rich tonkotsu. Look for the second Osaka Ramen location—taking over the old Ay Caramba! space in Cherry Creek—to follow in mid-April.
