FORT COLLINS — New Belgium Brewing and Chicago's Half Acre Beer Company have come together to bring beer drinkers Oatmeal IPA, a fruity, tropical brew with a creamier touch than the average IPA. The beer is available on draft, while supplies last, through New Belgium's Hop Kitchen Series.
SUNNYSIDE — Starting this weekend - and continuing for a select weekend each month - Lou's Food Bar will offer a three-course beer pairing brunch for $30 per person. This weekend's version features Elevation Beer Co. The menu includes a goat cheese and green chile crepe paired with a 8 Second Kölsch, an open-faced pork belly sandwich with Little Mo' Porter, and a Señorita Imperial Porter ice cream float. The beer pairing brunch menu will be available in additional to the regular Lou's Food Bar brunch menu. Following beer brunches include a weekends with Vindication Brewing Co. (April18-19) and Great Divide Brewing Co. (May 16-17), with menus released on the Lou's website each month.
LODO — The Celtic Tavern has partnered with MaxFund Animal Adoption Center to host the 21st Annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 22 beginning at 1 p.m. Attendees and participants will join together for the chili tasting and judging process until 3:30 p.m., winners will be announced at 4 p.m. To pre-register and get the opportunity to judge, visit the event page for $10 tickets. Registration will also be available at the door for $15. Chilies will range from red to green, white, and vegetarian.
