A new gathering place called Fort Greene will be opening up in place of the old Crash45 dive located at 321 East 45th Avenue. The restaurant and bar plans to open its doors during the second week of April and will feature homegrown food cooked by owner Bretton Scott, along with a number of classic cocktails.

The venue will highlight the historic bar, with accenting vintage wallpaper and antique musical instruments to give the space a retro yet sophisticated vibe. The future bar's social media has eluded to menu goodies like Wisconsin cheese curds and entrees filled with locally grown herbs and vegetables. Stay tuned for more details.
