BOULDER & LONGMONT FARMERS MARKET KICK OFF
When: April 4
Where: The Boulder Farmers Market is on 13th Street, between Arapahoe and Canyon (next to Central Park). The Longmont Farmers Market is held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.
What: The Boulder Farmers Market will be going into its 29th season, and it runs every Saturday beginning the first Saturday in April through the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Longmont Farmers Market Saturday season runs during the same time, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: The 15th annual Uncorked Wine Tasting event will feature more than 300 wines for novice and expert wine enthusiasts. Attendees will experience a unique opportunity to savor selections from prominent domestic and international vintners from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening includes three tasting areas where guests can experience a variety of wines with tasting guides and food from Kevin Taylor Catering. A silent auction will also take place with offerings from Colorado's best restaurants, hotels, spas, retailers, winemakers and breweries.

What: Rock the Earth is hosting a charity event featuring a six-course dinner, silent auction, local beer from Great Divide Brewing, wine from Séamus Wines, cocktails from Leopold Bros and live music. The dinner will celebrate locally-sourced ingredients cooked up by some of Denver's top chefs. The event begins at 6 p.m. and will run till 9:30 p.m. Chefs include Charlie Ayers of Calafia Cafe; Daniel Asher of Root Down and Linger; Paul Reilly of Beast & Bottle; Justin Brunson of Old Major; Jonathan Power of the Populist; and Matt Selby of Central Bistro.

What: The annual Cooking Matters fundraiser aims to rid child hunger in America by making sure all children recieve healthy food. The fundraiser will feature a cocktail reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. and multi-course dinner cooked by some of Colorado's best chefs. James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini, former Food Network Challenge host Keegan Gerhard, and chef-owner of D Bar will come together to create a decadent dessert. What: BrüFrou is the largest craft beer and culinary pairing event in Colorado.The second annual event will feature 80 Colorado brewers and chefs with more than 50 unique pairings. What: Creative Whiskey Company owner and founder David Stirk - along with Denver-based Robert Stickler, Master of Whisky and president and CEO of The Voice of Whisky - will host the dinner, which showcases four single malts that are cask-strength, non-chill filtered and single-cask expressions. Chef Tom Coohill will serve guests a four-course menu of dishes that will highlight the varying smoky, spicy and sweet touches of each whisky.
