DOWNTOWN — The Nickel and chef Chris Thompson have been selected to kickoff Cochon 555, a nationwide event featuring top chefs preparing heritage breed pigs. A five-course dinner will take place on March 6 at the Nickel with combined efforts from chefs from Beast + Bottle, the Squeaky Bean, Central Bistro and Bar, and Old Major. A welcome reception will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a sit down dinner at 7:45 p.m. Cost is $125 per guest, which includes beverage pairings, tax and gratuity.
