Denver's beloved craft spirits emporium Leopold Bros. has another feather to add to its cap: Distillery of the Year. The American Distilling Institute named Leopold Bros. as the recipient at the annual Spirits Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, where the judging went down. The good news was shared on the distillery's Facebook page, with a photo of Todd Leopold—who founded the business with his brother, Scott—proudly displaying the prize.
Known for its award-winning gin, Leopold Bros. settled into a new facility last fall on the northeast side of Denver, which allowed for increased production but with the same craft approach. Additionally, Leopold Bros. was also just named Best Colorado Distillery for Westword's 2015 Best of Denver edition.
