Coffee drinkers are giddy with excitement over the recent updates on the Novo Coffee Facebook page about the opening of the new cafe at 3617 West 32nd Avenue, at Highlands Square. Posts indicate that the opening is right around the corner, but there has yet to be an announcement about an exact date and time.
Remnants of the previous occupant, Yogurt Guru, are no longer present in the space that has been renovated by the Denver-based coffee roasting company. Brick walls and wood floors enclose the room that will soon be filled with the shiny silver machines that brew beans from around the world.
In the meantime, fans can visit one of the other two Novo locations in Denver. For those looking to just try a sample, "cuppings"—Novo's java-themed term for tastings—are offered to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. on Fridays at the Roastery location on 3008 Larimer Street.
