The Capitol Hill martini bar and manicure spot closed its doors on Saturday, April 4. Since its opening in June 2010, it has seen countless dance nights during the week, with artists like Prince Paul, Victor Duplaix, DJ Nu-Mark, the Smiths' Andy Rourke, and Love and Rockets/Bauhaus guitarist Daniel Ash, according to Westword. Lipgloss and Motown Thursdays have also been popular throughout the years.
Co-owner Mike Barnhart and his partners feel that it's been a great time in Denver, "...we kind of want to end on a high note and explore other options." For Denverites sad to see Beauty Bar go, you can find other locations in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Dallas.
