A number of Denver favorites are joining forces to celebrate Charc Week, a weeklong series of charcuterie-focused events presented by Mortar & Pestle. Beginning on Monday, June 1 and continuing through Saturday, June 6, participating restaurants such as Colt & Gray, the Nickel, and more will be featuring a variety of cured meats on their menus.
The highlight of the week will be Charc Bites, a cocktail party that will take place in RiNo, which will bring together all of the participating venues. Accompanying the house-made meats will be breads and pastries from City Bakery and craft beers from local breweries for guests to enjoy throughout the evening of Thursday, June 4. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Slow Food USA's Slow Meat campaign.
General tickets can be purchased online for $35 and VIP for $55 through May 1, and will be $45 for general and $65 for VIP after that. VIP guests are guaranteed early access to the event and some specialty bites.
