LODO — On Thursday, April 9, Cook Street School of Culinary Arts will host a knife skills class from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The class welcomes beginner and "seasoned home cooks" to learn about knife selection, knife care, and how important it is to have a good knives in your kitchen. Guests will use their new knife skills while making a meal with a perfectly paired wine. The class is $89 per person, act fast because only eight seats remain. Reservations can be made online.
DOWNTOWN — Guard and Grace is hosting a five-course Darioush Wine Dinner on April 9, with a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The dinner is $200 per person, not including tax and grautitity. For reservations, call 303.293.8500.
CAPITOL HILL — Table 6 is hosting an Allegrini Wine Dinner on April 9 at 7 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the wines of the Allegrini family, which has played a leading role in the history of Valpolicella since the 16th century and has passed on the culture of wine-making from generation to generation. Chef Mike has put together an incredible menu to pair with these award-winning wines. Cost is $75 per person and includes a four-course dinner, wine pairings and a meet and greet.
