The owners of Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria will open two more venues, Westword reported. Marco's will take over the old Johnny Rockets space in Colorado Mills shopping center in Lakewood. Another location will open in Casper, Wyoming.
According to pizza master Mark Dyms, both venues are projected to open in November or December this year. Guests can expect similar interior and layout as the original spaces, including a full bar and about 120 seats. The Pizzeria is one of less than 100 pizza restaurants in the U.S. that is certified by the Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana, a non-profit aimed at preserving the "original Neapolitian pizza."
