This is one of many experimental locations serving alcohol planned by the popular coffee chain.

In a new building in Cherry Creek North, Starbucks Coffee will open a new location that will feature its usual offerings, but also step up the game with wine, beer, and tapas in the evenings. The 250 Columbine project will house this new attraction on Third Avenue between Columbine and Clayton. The "Evenings" menu will be available daily from 4 p.m. to regular closing hours, which means no glass of wine with your pre-packaged salad. The reverse, however, is not true so don't panic: You can still get a blended Frappuccino until closing time.

The building that includes 71 condominium residences and over 30,000 square feet of retail space will also be home to two restaurants: Blue Island Seafood & Oyster Bar and SOL Mexican Cocina.
