A popular business lunch or pre-Rockies game spot, Sullivan's Steakhouse is saying good bye to LoDo for good. The restaurant will host a farewell party on Thursday, May 21 and it will forever shut its stoves on Saturday, May 30. Guests are invited to the venue from 7 to 11 p.m. to "Say Goodbye to Sully's" and can RSVP on the event Facebook page.
The 15-year-old steakhouse is owned by Del Frisco Restaurant Group. Del Frisco is choosing to close Sullivan's as the lease for the prime real estate space is up, the Denver Business Journal reported. The group is working on opening Del Frisco's Grille in Cherry Creek, a more casual cousin to the Del Frisco Steakhouse in Greenwood Village. The new Cherry Creek spot will start serving this fall.
