GLENDALE — Jax Fish House will host the first annual Brains Injury Benefit Soiree (BIBS) on Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. Each Jax chef will create a signature dish for the event and pair it with cocktails, wine and beer from Post Brewing. The event will raise funds and awareness for those who have experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with 100% of the proceeds will benefit Craig Hospital and Rocky Mountain Human Resources. LOHI — Stir Cooking School is hosting "All About FRESH HERBS!" on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will learn how to best utilize a variety of fresh herbs. The menu consists of herb marinated pork and vegetable kebobs with a tarragon pistachio pesto; Italian sausage, lemon, herb and ricotta rigatoni; sugar snap pea sauté with lemon, fresh herbs and a balsamic reduction; fingerling potato salad with fresh corn, sugar snap peas, tomatoes and avocado with an orange herb yogurt dressing; and honey and thyme ice cream. BALLPARK — The Lobby restaurant and bar will host their first Adult Daycare Event of 2015 series in the form of an EPIC Crawfish Boil. Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 22, the event will feature Epic Brewing Company in a family style southern seafood feast that will bring the fun back to adults. Only 60 guests will get to attend the event with a $40 ticket that includes a meal, three 9 oz. pairings and collectable swag items. Tickets can be purchased online.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS — New Belgium Brewing's new two-part collaboration, Beers with Vrienden (which means friends in Flemish), has kicked off with the release of Grilled Pineapple Berliner Weiss in restaurants throughout the city. The brew is the product of a collaborative effort between New Belgium and J. Wakefield Brewing out of Miami, Florida. New Belgium's liquid center will also have this summer beer on tap.
