The official website for The Shed, a public/private coalition for Boulder County's food shed, officially went public at the beginning of this week. The website is the first initiative of the coalition to educate and build awareness about Boulder's foodshed, which according to the website is "a relationship between people and the environment, between community and its producers, between individuals and the economy."
Founding members of the coalition include the University of Colorado Boulder, Boulder County, Boulder County Farmers Markets, the City of Boulder, the Chef Ann Foundation, Naturally Boulder, 350 Boulder County, Local Food Shift and the School Food Project. The new website can be found here.
