It's no secret that some of the best dining experiences in Denver can now be found at Union Station. Travel + Leisure's new feature on the world's best train station dining included not one but two of the restaurants located there. Mercantile Dining & Provision and Stoic & Genuine were listed among seven others ranging from Shake Shack in DC to Le Train Bleu in Paris.
Playboy included Denver's own Sean Kenyon of Williams & Graham in its recent feature on what the top bartenders in America are drinking after their shifts. Kenyon opts for the New Orleans classic, the Vieux Carre, after work. Made with cognac, rye, sweet vermouth, Benedictine, and bitters, Kenyon divulges: "It's the one drink that makes the world stop moving around me."
The Penrose Room at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs made USA Today's list of "10 Best Hotel Restaurants" at number three. The romantic setting and great views at the Penrose Room paired with the contemporary, seasonal European cuisine makes for an exquisite dining experience rather than simply a meal in a hotel.
