Denver now has a new venue just for cocktail geeks, and it's called Union Lodge No. 1. The historic-style cocktail bar located at 1543 Champa Street is the brainchild of Mike Huggins who owns the popular Arvada Tavern.
Union Lodge No.1 was designed to be a tribute to the bars of the 19th century and features jet-black cushioned banquettes that shine even under dim lighting, creating a romantic and vintage feel. The cocktail menu on the other hand is creative and fresh, often including a toothpick of fresh berries or oranges. Classics like a Tom Collins, a Ramos Fizz and a Knickerbocker can all be found on the menu, just to name a few.
The bar is located on the ground floor of the historic building it is named after and is open daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
