Chef Jeff Osaka, previously of Twelve restaurant, has brought the ramen noodle experience in a subterranean setting in the RiNo art district. Osaka is rapidly expanding his Japanese food empire in Denver by way of extended hours at Osaka Ramen in RiNo, soon-to-come conveyor belt sushi at SushiRama, and a second location for Osaka Ramen in Cherry Creek and possibly a third by DU.
RiNo's new Osaka Ramen has been more packed than a Tokyo subway car since its opening earlier this month. On Monday, Osaka Ramen will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Try the Tonkotsu ramen made with pork broth, bamboo shoots, pork belly, pickled ginger, black garlic oil, and soft egg. While ramen is the star of this show, the menu also features bento boxes, small plates, and desserts.
