The Early Word on Taco Junky, The Hill's New Spot

Boulder added a new restaurant to the college hangout known as The Hill.

The Mural News: With all the social media accounts available to diners, many take to Instagram to post pictures of their favorite spots to eat. One Instagrammer loves the food and the decor, "Go to Taco Junky, their food is dank and they have a dope mural." [Instagram]

The Double-Charge News: One gentlemen wasn't so pleased with the flavors and prices of Taco Junky, but hopes they turn it around. "Both the burrito and fajitas were both some of the most bland/non-seasoned Mexican food I've had in my life. On top of the bad food they charged us for a soda refill..... yes we paid $3.00 x 2 for our son's shirley temples.... I really hope they make some changes here, I'd hate to see another restaurant come and go on the hill. If it weren't for the french toast, I'd honestly have to give this place one star." [Google+]

The Five Star Review: The majority of Facebookers give Taco Junky two thumbs up, but this reviewer just couldn't help himself from spewing compliments. "Ahhhhmazing food and drinks! Was honored to join in on the soft opening festivities and was blown away by everything! Chef Will and Chef Joe have come up with an amazing menu, especially the albacore tuna melt with bacon jam! WOW... Everything we had was cooked and seasoned to perfection, can't wait to go back!" [Facebook]

The Delicious Dilemma News: With every dish just as tasty as the next, ordering may be a difficult task. From Caribbean curry chicken to potato fritters, no diner can go wrong. 5280 says the brunch menu is a knockout and recommends a favorite. "There's also the exceptional Sun of a Biscuit with flaky buttermilk biscuits topped with three sunny-side up eggs, breakfast potatoes, loads of crispy bacon, and chorizo gravy." [5280]
