Upstairs Circus to Expand Big Top Empire in South Denver

Upstairs Circus opened its first location in LoDo in late 2013 and has since established itself as an epicenter of community crafts and libations. The Landmark in Greenwood Village is essentially the community gathering mecca for the DTC crowd, making it the ideal expansion location for Upstairs Circus. East West Partners, the Colorado-based real estate developers that brought you Union Station, will be embarking on this endeavor of bringing the unique experience to the Tech Center.

The new location, slated to open in September, will have the same topsy-turvy aesthetic and "project menu" as its Downtown counterpart. However, owners Matt and Kelly Johannsen recognize the tendencies for different parts of town to reflect different social needs and so are open to tweaking small things about the Upstairs Circus concept to fit the needs of the DTC area.
