LOHI — Central Bistro and Bar has added a few new items to their happy hour menu, including homemade crab croquettes and garlic knots accompanied by a pimento cheese dip. The bistro will also release a new summer menu on June 11, with some exciting new small plates like plantain gnocchi and a tomato salad. The item most highly anticipated on this new menu is the Colorado Alamosa bass with taglietelle pasta and heirloom carrot soubise; does that not scream Colorado summer?

SOUTH EAST DENVER — The Truffle Cheese Shop is hosting its monthly beer and cheese pairing with Copper Kettle Brewing Company on Thursday, June 11. A $20 ticket includes four worldly artisan cheeses, four craft beer samples and nibbles like locally baked crackers and fresh fruit. The event will be held at the Copper Kettle Brewing Co. headquarters and will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.
RINO — On Thursday, June 11, Nocturne will launch its new summer tasting menu with a live performance of songs from "Quiet Kenny," an album by trumpet player Kenny Dorham. Guests can enjoy five courses inspired by "Quiet Kenny" from chef Dustin Beckner that ranges from an exploration of cool, multicultural flavors to smoke and familiar comfort foods. Concert tickets are $98 per person and can be purchased online, along with reservations.
