Ignite Ale House & Kitchen, a casual eatery and tap house will open in Arvada in the former Woody's Tavern space located at 7995 Sheridan Boulevard. The group who owned Woody's, Concept Restaurants, decided to switch gears after nearly two decades, gut the space, and bring the concept they opened in Ballpark to this area of town. The floors, walls, upholstery, furniture, lighting, colors scheme will all be changing. A 22 foot bright orange rowing skiff belonging Concept Restaurants partner Frank Day's will hang on one of the walls.
"When we reconcepted Ignite in Ballpark a year ago, the response was incredibly positive and we found that a significant number of our guests were coming into the city from the north and west sides of town," said Concept Restaurant Group partner, Kevin Brown. "With Ignite Ale House in Arvada, we hope to take what we know about both markets and offer our neighbors in Arvada, Thornton, Northglenn and Broomfield a casual, full service place to go that's family friendly."
Ignite, which will open on July 6, will offer a variety of burgers, as well as an expanded pizza program with hand-stretched, homemade dough and varied salads and sandwiches. On the beer side, there will be global styles of beer crafted by Colorado brewers. For example, you'l be able to get a German-style lager from Prost or a Belgian-style Framboise Lambic from Copper Kettle Brewing Company.
The new spot will be decidedly family-friendly with a kids menu that's meant to appeal to both kids and parents.
