Yoga and craft beer go together like hot dogs and mustard in Denver. Some of our favorite local breweries are gearing up for summer by hosting community yoga classes and keeping participants around afterwards for microbrews. These community-building mind, body, and soul workshops are coming to a brewery near you this weekend.
- Vine Street Pub & Brewery hosts a donation-based yoga class every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. throughout the warmer months. Class is held on the pub's west patio just two blocks from City Park. The first twenty-five attendees get a free pint of Mountain Sun beer or a mimosa after the class. As Vine Street's general manager, Caroline Duffy, says: "Yoga and beer? Sounds like Namaste to me!"
- Ratio Beerworks is the RiNO district's newest brewery with promotions including comedy night featuring Denver's hottest local comedians as well as monthly yoga classes. The June edition of Ratio's yoga class is offered this Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. The class is hosted in the brewhouse in tandem with local yoga studio, The Yoga Mat. These classes are intended to be high energy and fun, with music on the speakers from Hot Water Music and Fugazi and a pint of beer afterwards included in the attendance fee.
- Alpine Dog Brewing Company invites you to join the team this Sunday, June 28 at the Capitol Hill brewery for brewhouse yoga and a Happy Leaf Kombucha tasting. Not a fan of fermented tea? Fear not, an Alpine Dog brew is included in the price of the yoga session. Class kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and is led by professional yogi, Danelle Numis. No RSVP required, simply show up Sunday morning.
- Denver Beer Co. is pairing up with local beer and yoga organization, Poses & Pints, this weekend for yoga in the barrel room. From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. this Saturday, June 27, enjoy an hour of yoga at Denver Beer Co. with a social hour afterwards including (obviously) beer. Poses & Pints organizes yoga classes at different breweries every third Saturday of each month, so follow them on your preferred method of social media to stay in the yogic loop.
