Wine-Sustainability Class; San Juan Celebration; CigarBQue

DOWNTOWN - Baur’s Restaurant and Listening Lounge will kick off its calendar of wine events with a sustainability-themed evening with Erin Hollrah of Natural Wine Company. From 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, Hollrah will help guests understand the procesNatural Wine Cos of natural wine making and give us the low down on additives, natural yeast and more. Tickets are available for $30 a person and can be purchased online.

BOULDER - DaGabi Cucina Spanish Restaurant will host ‘The Magical Night of San Juan’ on Wednesday, June 24. This traditional Spanish midsummer party will honor San Juan or St. John the Baptist with a feast of empanadas, tuna, and features the traditional drink, Queimada. This punch is made from a spirit distilled from wine and flavored with special herbs, coffee, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon. Rumor has it, the ingredients are prepared while chanting an incantation against evil. Reservations can be made online.

RINO - Local chefs and bartenders from Denver favorites like Euclid Hall, Green Russel, Lena, Mizuna, and more will participate in the CigarBQue on Thursday, June 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Blanc. Tickets include cuisine, cocktails, cigars and a small donation to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. We can’t forget to mention that ice cream sandwiches from Peteybird will be served for dessert! Tickets can be purchased online for $125 a person.

ALL LOCATIONS –Native Foods Café has launched its "Eat Sunshine" summer menu featuring the freshest ingredients of the season at each of its 26 locations across the nation. Avocado lovers can dig their teeth into the avocado crunch wrap or the grilled avocado plate while berry lovers can enjoy the summer berry salad while sipping on a Lavender Blueberry Lemonade.
