When you talk power lunch spots next time, put Humboldt at the very top of your list. The Uptown eatery hosted former President Bill Clinton today for lunch, along with U2's Bono and Chelsea Clinton. The Clintons are in town for Day of Action, a community event organized by the Clinton Foundation where volunteers sort donated medical supplies with Project C.U.R.E. That event kicks off at 4 p.m.

Bono has been in Denver for the U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour. The legendary Irish band has played two sold out shows at the Pepsi Center on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

The restaurant accommodated the former President's vegan diet with a modified version of its popular crispy broccoli. He also enjoyed the kale salad without salmon while Bono had the ahi tuna noodle salad. The men had ice tea and Chelsea, whose stop there was shorter, skipped the eating portion of the program.
