Cheap Eats Week is almost over, but the bargains are not. Thanks to several Eater Denver readers who have submitted their favorite deals and discounts around town. Here are a few, with some additional comments from Eater staff.
"LoHi Steakbar's Happy Hour runs from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close. The deal: half off all glasses of wine, tap beers, and well cocktails. $1 Oysters, $3 mini blue smoke burgers, $4 mini steak sandwiches, $3 mini chicken salad sandwich, $7 poutine, $4 shrimp taco, $4 mini calamari."
"Stout Street Social recently launched Taco Tuesday with $2 citrus braised chicken, blackened shrimp or short rib street tacos, Tecate cans and mini margaritas from 6 p.m. to close on Tuesdays. Stout Street Social is conveniently located on the Light Rail line."
"The frites at Blackbird Public House are only $5." And they're made with rosemary, preserved lemon, and brown butter aioli.
"Tarasco's New Latin Cuisine on Federal is cheap and awesome." You wont forget the chicken mole.
"Vine Street Brewery & Pub does dollar tacos, and discounted pitchers of beer and margs every Thursday night, as well as burger & beer Mondays (which is the best deal in town as far as I can tell)."
