At the corner of 26th and Larimer, guests will be able to pour their own beer, wine, and cider by the ounce when First Draft opens later this month. The unusual self-serve system and drinking experience is made possible through a partnership with iPourIt, a leader in self-serve tap technology that will be providing the largest self-serve beer system in Colorado.
Owner Mark Slattery brought Eric Lee on board to lead the food program that will complement the beverage offerings. The chef, whose resume includes stints at the Kitchen, Cafe Aion, and Jax, has created menus for lunch, brunch, and dinner that will please just about anyone. There are fresh pretzels, deviled eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches, salads, larger format plates, and even an exceedingly enticing fried buttermilk chicken sandwich with a sunny up egg, fried green tomato, maple, tater tots and buttermilk biscuit.
