One of Colorado's most celebrated microbreweries, New Belgium, is finally installing an outpost in Denver. The original brewery in Fort Collins will continue to brew the staples while the new Denver pilot brewery will focus on small batch and sour beers, giving New Belgium a chance to showcase some of its rare brews.
The new brew house is slated to occupy the ground floor of the upcoming The Source Hotel and the barrel aging component will be housed on the 8th floor lounge. A collaboration between New Belgium and The Source Hotel will also give life to "The Woods," a restaurant/bar concept to be installed in the hotel. The hotel eatery will serve New Belgium beers alongside small plates in a sophisticated setting.
Construction on The Source Hotel is scheduled to begin this fall with an anticipated opening in 2017.
