WESTMINSTER — Master summer’s hottest drink, the Paloma, and learn other techniques for cooking with tequila at Kachina Southwestern Grill’s latest Chef’s Cooking Class on Thursday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will learn how to cook with tequila, agave, and prickly pear and also how to make the perfect Paloma with Kachina’s exclusive Herradura 48 Minutos Reposado, the ideal beverage for a hot summer evening. The class will include recipe cards for guests to take home. Kachina is continuing the National Tequila Day celebration on Friday, July 24 with fifty percent off of the entire tequila menu. CENTENNIAL — The ViewHouse Centennial team has launched a new Cabana Service menu that will be served table side in the first-come, first-served cabanas and is filled with themed drink options. Choices range from spicy to traditional and guests can choose three custom-made cocktail carafes, including Tropical, South of the Border, Sangria, Mimosas, Bloody Mary and the unique Mule offerings. Each package will arrive at your cabana with a bowl of fresh fruits, a couple of red bulls, and a choice of two mixers.
CRESTED BUTTE — The Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival kicks off on Thursday, July 23 with a Winemaker Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Held at the elite Skyland private residence, the dinner will be hosted by six nationally esteemed winemakers and chefs chosen to work alongside chef Kalon Wall of Supper at the Sunflower. The thoughtfully prepared meal will include wine pairings from Bodega de Edgar, hand-picked for each course. Tickets are $250 and can be purchased online.
