This summer marks the twentieth anniversary of beloved fast-casual Mexican chain, Illegal Pete's, in the Denver/Boulder area. This Front Range favorite is known for Mission-style burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, breakfast, and booze, as well as hosting musical events and community gatherings. On that note, the Illegal Pete's empire will be hosting a twentieth anniversary party of epic proportions at Red Rocks on September 6.
The event will feature music from popular bands Lucero and Built to Spill. Not only are all current employees of Illegal Pete's invited to the party free of charge, but anyone who has ever worked at an Illegal Pete's location at some point in its twenty year tenure is offered a free pair of tickets as well. Tickets are now on sale.
