Four Coffee Options to Keep You Buzzing This Summer

Too hot for your regular latte? These Denver coffee shops will cool you down with unique summer offerings.

Mercantile Dining & Provisions loves coffee, and that's obvious from its market menu that features cortado espresso, coffee flights, a coffee and cheese pairing, and the X3 offering— one origin of coffee prepared three ways. Beat the heat at Mercantile with a splash of house-made almond milk in your next iced coffee.

The house-made sodas at Purple Door Coffee are the cold kick you need on a hot day, especially when they include espresso. Try the espresso cherry soda.

Novo Coffee satisfies beer drinkers at its three locations (1700 Glenarm, 1700 E. 6th Avenue, and the latest addition to Novo's family at 3617 W. 32nd Avenue) with smooth nitro cold brew. The company also does many collaborations with Denver's breweries on coffee beers, such as Epic Brewing's Big Bad Baptist aged in whiskey barrels on Novo's beans.

Corvus Coffee is another coffee shop catering to beer lovers with a dry hopped version of its bottled cold brew. The shop on South Broadway is also serving up a summer drink menu that includes coffee and tea mocktails like the grapefruit cold brew julep with draft hopped cold brew, grapefruit juice, and mint.
